Blog : July 11, 2008Max Tersch again chosen as UNICEF juror.
Max Tersch, founder of POSTPROP LP., was again chosen to be a juror for Unicef's Regional ICDB Award 2008 ( International Children's Day of Broadcasting). Constestants were from regional Asian countries - China, Malaysia, Thailand, and Mongolia. The winner will move on to compete at the ICDB Awards in New York City 2008.

Blog : June 27, 2008Nok Air HD!
Our 1-hr corporate documentary "Nok Air" has finally arrived in HD format, although it will only be aired in standard definition (sorry folks). We have discovered that Blu-ray is also only starting to be a valid distribution process in Thailand. Nevertheless, HD is a perfect archival tool for both video and film futureproofing.

Blog : May 20, 20081 week in Burma with ITN Ch4 News
Max Tersch recently worked with ITN Ch.4 News in Rangoon, Burma (Yangoon, Myanmar) to deliver a 6-minute piece which aired on May 17 in the U.K. We hope and pray that the people of Myanmar affected by the cyclone's devastation will be given some relief from the political strife that afficts this nation.

Blog : April 01, 2008First Quarter Positive Results Posted - whew!
POSTPROP LP. announces first quarter growths have greatly exceeded managerial and investor expectations (and surpassed all local indexes such as the Thai SET). Furthermore, steady growth has defied the absolutely un-brilliant economical disasters triggered by the U.S. sub-prime trauma. (sigh).
Jokes aside, we are happy to announce that we have successfully delivered key presentational projects to Lancome for their Renergie and Platineum products this term, including... L'Oreal's "Kiehl's" store has been launched in Jan '08! (we worked with the event organizers)... Diesel's "Fuel for Life" promo was translated here... Nok Air (Thai budget airline) is cutting a 1-hour documentary with us (directed by Shane Bunnag)! Almost there guys... A 15-minute promo for The Cove (a new beautifully designed beach condo 60 mins away from BKK) is being edited, colored, and mixed here at the beautifully designed POSTPROP premises... Oh, did we mention, The Cove promo was shot on Panasonic's P2 Varicam cameras, and we loved the P2 Flashdrives! We have shaved many many days off of the the workflow going tapeless. Hopefully, we will continue to see awesome breakthrough, timesaving technologies such as this that will help increase the speed of delivery and quality in Post-production. - The Editor

Blog : December 09, 2007Dancing on Heaven's Meadows Documentary
Detlev F. Neufert of Germany has completed his latest documentary "Dancing on Heaven's Meadows" as tribute for His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 80's Birthday. This 30 minute piece is a follow up to his feature length documentary "Heaven's Meadow" (2004) and continues with his story of the Baan Gerda AIDS Orphanage in Thailand. Dancing on Heaven's Meadows is also a story about Ben, the oldest orphan at Baan Gerda, and gives us some insight via a truly personal account of Ben's own life.

Blog : October 14, 2007Oppatika and Lullabye hit theatres in the same month! WOW, two Feature Film projects that have had long histories with POSTPROP (oh, the ups and downs!) have finally hit theatres this October 2007! Lullabye Before I Wake by Nate Pantumsinchai will premiere at LIDO Cineplex this Oct 19th. www.lullabyebeforeiwake.com Lullaybe is a truly indie movie in every sense (except for the SAG actors ;) and has a great soundtrack from Japanese/American band "Oblivion Dust". Opapatika (pronouced OP-patika) by Thanakorn Ponguswan will open in almost all theatres in Thailand Oct 23rd. This feature edit began at POSTPROP but finished back at the studio. By the way, the photography in this movie is awesome! (think : post-modern Buddhist temple arena's!) Also, here's an early review from Twitch.com GOOD LUCK NATE AND P'UN!

POSTPROP put together an installation video loop for Blue Mountain Hua hin, a project development condo in Hua Hin Thailand called "A PORTRAIT OF HUA HIN" which will be displayed at the property convention this month at the Queen's Sirikit Center.

Blog : September 10, 2007HM King of Thailand Documentary!
POSTPROP has assisted Houdini Studios in the editing of an hour-long documentary on his majesty the King Bhumibol Adunyadej's life and philosophy through the eyes of his Thai subjects. This project was commissioned by the Travel Authority of Thailand (TAT). The documentary features interviews of people from different walks of life(from a world renown band conductor to an old southern Imam priest who has met the King) that have been affected by the King's lifelong dedication to his people.

Blog : August 01, 2007Max Tersch chosen as juror for 2007 ICDB Awards!
Max Tersch, POSTPROP's founder, has been selected by UNICEF EAPRO as a juror for this year's International Children's Day of Broadcasting Award (Asian Regional). This year's nominees were from Thailand, Mongolia, China, and Indonesia on the topic of the AIDS/HIV Crisis and awareness in each country.
Established in 1991, the International Children's Day of Broadcasting encourages broadcasters to produce programming by, with and for children. UNICEF and The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences are the main sponsors and promote the day as well as the award. This is the third year they are supporting the regional award, with the winning entry being nominated for the global award, which is presented at the International Emmy Awards in November 2007. Blog : July 16, 2007T.Mandrake Music Video for "Sailor"!
English Band T.Mandrake commissions director Shane Bunnag to create a culture bending MV for their new release "Sailor". The MV is based on the old thai folk art of "Lee Kae" Theatre which is a colorful combination of vaudville and japanese Kabuki per se. This MV will be shown on MTV2 in the U.K. this year!
POSTPROP also put together the 10 minute behind the scenes documentary of T.Mandrake who performed at the Hua Hin Jazz Festival 2007 in Thailand.

POSTPROP, again with dotdotdot, creates a funny and catchy commercial for jobjob.co.th, a job search website in Thailand.
